Just words I thought would suffice.
Just simple words to say
I had a dream so wonderful
fullfilled this last Sunday.

I saw you walk along the path
coming closer step by step
I held you close and felt a glow
My heart a beat it leapt.

Dear one of joy to me did bring
a joy within my heart
A love of life deep from within
I hope we never part.

Now in my heart a special place
is there for you to keep
where love and laughter will remain
awake or sound asleep.

Your laughter at my passing wind
lit up your face that day
Some would have lost all interest
and left, just walked away.

But you my love, my prescious gem
you stayed for ever near
you took away my sadness
my worries and my fears
